I’ve been a professional artist for many years, originally trained in textile design.
My commissions include The National Trust for Scotland, Scottish Tourist Board, design work for Glasgow Gallery of Modern Art, and for national newspapers and magazine features; for companies, hotels, etc., with customers including celebrities, politicians, and collectors worldwide.
I spent a long time exhibiting all over the UK; at contemporary art fairs, annual events such as the Royal Highland show, RHS National flower shows, international horse trials, Chatsworth House, Glamis Castle, Scone Palace, plus gallery exhibitions including several sell-out solo shows at Gleneagles.
Most of my work is of Scottish scenes, especially seascapes, where I build up many layers and glazes of colour.
All my work is original only, I have never allowed prints of any kind. I now sell solely from my website plus Facebook business page online, with occasional ‘open studio’ weekends, plus of course local fairs with the HLAA.
