Supporting Charities

Local Charities

The Helensburgh and Lomond Artisans Association is proud to directly support local charities and to work alongside other great causes.

Below, we detail some of the great causes that we support.

CHAS

Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) offers a full family support service for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions. This includes palliative care, family respite and support – through our hospices, homecare services and hospital presence.

At the craft fairs that we host we run a pop-up tea room, all of the proceeds from which are donated to Robin House in Balloch (run by CHAS).

Plastic Free Helensburgh

As part of our ongoing effort, as a group, to reduce our environmental impact, we are part of the Plastic Free Helensburgh community.

Many of our crafters recycle, upcycle, repurpose and reuse materials in their creations – details are in the members pages.

Our crafters make every effort to eliminate single-use plastic from their packaging materials.

Other Charities

In addition to our direct support of local charities, some of our members have charities that are close to their hearts which they support through the sale of their crafts.

Please check the members pages for more details on these great causes.
