My first experience of working with glass was about ten years ago at a local college when I was living down in Worcestershire. The freedom and excitement of Fused Glass was addictive. Who could believe that a seemingly random assemblage of razor sharp pieces of glass could be transformed into soft flowing things of beauty ? It was magic – alchemy – I was hooked.

My professional life has been spent in the Theatre as a Costume Designer, but in 2022 my husband and I moved to Kilcreggan and I was able to devote much more of my time to my glass work.

I have a studio at home where I can develop ideas and work on commissions which I really enjoy.

I exhibit and sell my work through the Kilcreggan Post Office & Community Hub.

Even when making multiples of a design, for example Christmas Ornaments or Greetings Cards, the finished item is individually handmade and totally unique. No two pieces are ever the same.
